Start with the current vehicle list
Uber publishes vehicle requirements for Poland. Check the city, model, year, number of seats and other conditions for your chosen category in the current Uber list. A car that is accepted for UberX is not automatically accepted for Comfort, XL or Black.
UberX, Comfort, XL and Black
These services have different eligibility and availability. Comfort also depends on the vehicle and driver criteria; XL is intended for larger groups; Black has its own vehicle standards. Availability may differ between cities. Confirm your exact model and version in Uber's current requirements or during onboarding before committing money.
Before choosing your own car
- Verify the car's eligibility in your city and category.
- Check taxi documentation, vehicle inspection and insurance with the relevant office and insurer.
- Estimate fuel or energy, servicing, tyres, cleaning, depreciation and insurance for your actual mileage.
- Compare the total cost of ownership with a written rental offer rather than just the monthly instalment.
Own car or rental?
Your own car gives you more control over the vehicle, but you bear its running costs and depreciation. Rental can reduce the initial outlay, while terms and included services depend on the contract.
